It even has an orange cat at the bottom!
But he still prefers to drink from the big dog water bowl. When he was a kitten he would get very wet, but now that he's bigger it's just his elbow and leg...depending on how deep the water is.

Hahaha! Oh, that is SILLY! My cats have all sorts of quirks, where do I begin?
They don't drink out of any water bowls this time of year--they drink out of the tubs of water plants that I bring in from the pond to overwinter. It's ridiculous.
My staff is wondering if the problem lies in the fact that Chopper is an orange tiger named Chopper. She had such a cat - orange tiger named Chopper - a wonderful cat. But, he would eat out of his food bowl, fall asleep with his head still over the bowl, and if a slight little noise woke him up, he would just proceed with his munching - right where he left off!
LOL! Those crazy cats...
Water bowls? Ha! We prefer running water at our house. Red, Mariah and Purrmeister all have they own special style of getting their little mouths under the kitchen faucet set to drip. OTOH, there's also a little cat fountain here that is always running too, but not quite as exciting as that nice big kitchen sink....
That is so funny! Angel-kitty likes to share Hurricane's water and when we put ice in it in the summer she sits and plays with the ice :)
Jen's mom gave her one of those bubbly water fountains for kitties, but those darn cats wouldn't drink out of it! They prefer to drink (and wash their paws) in MY water dish! It's outrageous!
That is one fine food bowl and I would never think to use mine for a place to catch some zzzzzs but I must say that looks really comfy and I will have to give it a try sometime.
I am wondering if you are a tabby kittie? You sure look like a beautiful one to me. If you are interested in joining the Tabby Cat Club we would love to have you!
Glogirly says I'm one big walking quirk. Frankly I don't think that's very nice. But there you have it.

My late harvey's quirk was that he wanted to have a bathroom faucet running.he did not like the water dish at all.
That's such a cute pic. My cat is very quirky. He paws the floor all around the water bowl before taking a drink.
Chopper sometimes paws the bottom of the big dish...he slps water everywhere!
HAHAHA! My cat wont drink from his bowl either - only a freshly poured human glass of course :o)
What a sweety...I would love to pet him!

It is funny the little things they do. Kizzie likes to sleep on the smallest, highest part of the cat gym, even though it's too small for her now and there's a more spacious area on the shelf below.
